Airport Area Chamber of Commerce

The ATL Airport Chamber, like other member-driven organizations, finds itself at a defining moment. The novel coronavirus is wreaking havoc on the national and global economy; the Chamber is not immune to its effects. We recently learned that the Paycheck Protection Program designed to help small and mid-sized companies weather the negative financial impacts of the virus, in fact, excludes Chambers of Commerce from participating. As you might expect, this news was very disappointing.

The good news is that in response to this unprecedented challenge the Chamber is forming a 501c3 foundation that can accept donations to offset program costs and accommodate technology upgrades. In the interim, you can still donate under our 501c6 nonprofit status. You can designate where you would like to donate via a dropdown list. Please review the tax treatment of 501c6 nonprofit donations at https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/other-non-profits/tax-treatment-of-donations-501c6-organizations  to determine if your donation is tax-deductible.

As a Chamber of Commerce, our sole mission is to represent the interests of the business community and our constituents. We believe this pivot is timely and essential for the continued growth and vitality of the Atlanta Airport Region and the Southern Crescent.
